Friday Night Shenanigans

Yes, I should be in bed by now but im to excited for tomorrow night. You see tomorrow night, my friends and I are having drinking night, we have never really done this before either, and i get to play bartender :D

I have an awesome list put together of shooters and cocktails to try, but the one im looking forward to the most is the Alien Brain Hemorrhage.  

See although I drink alcohol, I never drink enough to the point of getting drunk. I like my water way to much, if you put a can of cool drink in front of me, and a glass of water, ill always take the water. But tomorrow nights going to be dedicated to trying new things and not being worried about other people.

Also on the list to try is jell-o shots, kamikaze shooter, lemon drop, woo woo, cherry bomb, skittles bomb, red headed slut, strawberry daiquiri, kamikaze cocktail style, pina colada and lastly margaritas. Now thats just on my list, may not get though them all but im hoping to tick a few off my list.

My boss tonight also suggested a gag shooter to get one of my friends to try, and they dont read my blog so i can tell you all about it on here mwhahah :D

Its called the cement mixed, and all it is, is baileys Irish cream and lime juice. You put the 2 carefully in a shot glass, make them take the concoction and mix it around in their mouth like a "cement mixer" and in the process a chemical reaction happens causing the cream to solidify into gooey chunks ehhehehe.

Frosted Candy

So I found this awesome french girls blog yesterday and absolutely adore it! 

tete-de-thon if your interested in checking it out.

I used Google translate so I could view the blog in English. This is also where I made the decision on my next hair colour. Iv decided to dye all of it this time to, instead of keeping it blonde on top. 

Although I have done coloured eye brows before which looked good because my hair was a lot stronger in colour and so they matched in, this time I went a little more extreme and unfortunately I don't think the pink works very well without having pink in my fringe so the colour matches. 

 

I also was in a rush to get to work, so I was unable to put on my fake lashes, and my real eyelashes are pretty retarded looking in general so the whole out come of this didn't work in my favour much.

Black & White

This was my attempt and black and white kinda smokey eye look.

I was in a rush so its kinda messy and the flash again captures more glitter than colour but its quite a nice look and im sure ill perfect it later on down the track ^.^ 

Also, i would love paler skin, red lips just dont match me at all :(

Assignmenting *le sigh

This weekend, has been hell for assignments, second week back and im already stressed out >.<
But I do have to say, im not hating most the assignments, just the fact they have due dates. 

So I would like to present to you one of my marketing assignments. 

The brief was to get something we had done in the past (so that we didnt have to spend time creating a whole new idea from scratch) and then market it on a product, so I choose to create my own brand of Cosmetics, called Identiti, and choose one of my illustration from 2 years ago to use as my marketing promotional tool. 

Here is what iv got so far.

Soft Nature

I wore this look a few days ago to a dinner outing.

I think soft cool colours go a lot better with my skin and hair and I absolutely love my green bourjois paris duo chrome eyeliner. 

The blending worked a lot better with my new brushes to, elf cosmetics ftw! Will have to save up so I can buy some more

Purple Lust

I have returned for a second round of blogging tonight.

I would like to present to you another attempt at creative eyeshadow.

 

The gold is a lot stronger in reality, I haven't quite mastered my photography skills yet either, having the flash on seems to dull the gold and obviously bring out the shine instead.

I also need a LOT more practice in applying eyeliner, I don't exactly have the best face for make up which is annoy, but at least now my skin has gotten so much better I can actually wear some. 

What do you think? Suggestions :)

Rainbow

So recently, make up has become a huge passion for me. I'm still quite new at it though, so a lot my applications are quite raw and messy unfortunately. I'll try post my creative looks whenever I can in amongst my other bits and pieces :)

For maximun experience, lock yourself in a dark room, put on your head phones and turn the sound up.

The sound would have to play the biggest part of freakin people out. You cannot attack the monsters, you have to run and hide from them surviving on finding oil and tinderboxes. 

The aim of the game is to get find out about yourself, why you are here in this mansion and what experiments were going on.

Jeffrey Campbell

Hey all

Another day another post, and today I would like to introduce you to the lovely new addition to my wardrobe, my first ever pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita's

These are the pair I went for, the decision was quite difficult to make though since there were so many to choose from

Here is a copy of how many styles the Lita's come in, originally I was going to get the Black or Blue Sued, but the Blue Lace style appeared went I went to buy them, and I just couldn't resist!

Even though they are incredibly high and unfortunately quite pricey, they are the most easiest and comfiest heeled boots to walk in. They are also extremely light as not to weigh you down. If your quite short I recommend you get them for every day wear if you love heels. I am of average height so I have to pick certain occasions to wear them, and also with living in Australia, walking around in high heels is not as common as say somewhere like Europe. 

The box they arrived in was adorable as well, I love when companies go out of there way to make attractive, appealing packaging. 

Leslie Ann O'dell

So I have to create something for an exhibition thats coming up, and I really dont like a lot of my previous work. So today I wanted to talk about my favourite artist, Leslie O'dell, for the fact I am hoping my next piece will be inspired by her work.

I first came across her work in a Gothic Art Book my best friend got me many years ago.

The Tale of Kiahs Hair

Multicoloured HeadBand Braid

Hey all, I have a story for you because im a little bored... >.> 
Since I was 14 I've enjoyed dying my hair, putting wash out colour through during the holidays and then during school having subtle changed in different more natural colours. I've probably been every natural hair colour, but tbh, blonde - my natural colour - suits me the best. I would tend to dye my hair as a source of relief, to aim for a change, usually when somethings upsetting me. But in February 2011 I decided I would change and keep it as blonde, till I was happy with who I was.
Later that year, I discovered my addiction for Tumblr, in which I would then come across multiple post of girls with epic, to die for hair colours. This sparked my want to dye my hair something more drastic, and not be afraid of what other people thought. I was happy with who I was, and I wished to experiment and go a little crazy XD

This girl, Kalli aka bumzigana (www.bumzigana.tumblr.com) has an amazing talent with hair and make up, it was because of her tumblr that I decided to go rainbow hair, instead of just one or two tones.

My family were kind of against the idea at first, so I didn't want to completely dye my whole head then I came across these image, I think the blonde on top looks really nice, enhances the colours and lessens the maintenance of re dyeing as well.

These are 5 of the 7 dyes I used, unfortunately they were all out of yellow, so I had to order Panic Manic. Special Effects Hair Dye L - R, Limelight, Blue Mayhem, Pimpin Purple, Atomic Pink & Napalm Orange. I also used Panic Manic Electric Banana & Atomic Turquoise.

I got my hair dresser to do the first initial dye only because I wanted a perfect layout, and she did a fantastic job as well, we had quite an amusing time experimenting with the colours.

Initially I had a hot pink fringe, but as iv redyed I've also slowly changed colours of my fringe as you'll see below.
