Flaschengeist

My latest fascination is not with make up or beauty products but is in fact with the flaschengeist range. Their produce a number of divine liquors, oils and vingers. I hosted a party through my local flaschengeist consultant a few weeks ago and even though I ended up freaking out before hand because I had a lot of friends bail the party was in fact a huge success!

As im not a binge drinker but more so a food and taste lover, i bought a number of these exotic flavours, that are great of creating cocktails and adding amazing flavours to foods. The awesome thing with Flaschengeist is that you pick your bottle and they then fill with your choice of liqueur. There motto is "imagine your paying for the bottle and the liqueur fill is free" 

They have bottles that range from every occasion and personality type.

My list included the following liqueurs (i hope to buy a number more in the near future)

• Lemoncello Liquer
• Blackcurrant Vodka
• Turkish Delight Liqueur
• Watermelon Vodka
• Cognuc and Walnut Ligueur

And as for the oils between mum and myself we ended up with pretty much the whole range ^.^

Area 57 - Popsicle

 My Advance Diploma graduating class help a pop up shop during Perths event - Popsicle. The shop showcased a number of different artistic mediums, selling pieces to raise funds for our end of year expo. All in all the shop did quite will and my group Area 57 worked hard in making it a success!

Rainbow Hair

So i redyed my hair the other day, attempted using all the colours i still had, most of them turned out pretty awesome, unfortunately the one colour i was really looking forward to, panic manic pillarbox red, turned out instead of being flame red to a dingy orange colour and now its mixed with the pink its a weird pinky orange but oh wells. Here's a couple of photos.

I apologise in advance for the horrible skin and poor capture of products. Just got a new phone and taking selfies is hard work ahha and as for my skin my medication ran out due to manufacturing issues and so iv had the worst skin for a month and nothing seems to make it any better :( 
But anyways loving my latest limecrime products, I now own all except one of there lipsticks and glamour 101 is now my fav lip colour! It tend to stain your lips which for me is good because it means you dont need to keep applying coats and you can eat and drink without fading <3
I also used the chinadoll pallet for my eyes for the first time, the colours are so strong, pigmented and smooth as well as easy to blend, defiantly will be getting my moneys worth out of all my limecrime pallets!

Latest press on nails, so pretty! There newest colours are awesome to, and I can wear them through both harsh work environments (painted nails last not even 1 night) and netball games! <3

LimeCrime

Today came another package from the lovely crew at LimeCrime ^.^ 

A few weeks ago LimeCrime announced that all their Magic Dust eye-shadows were going to be discontinued and as they are one of my favourite make up company's I had to get my hands on some. They also restocked a number of there lipsticks that i desperately wanted, such as New Yolk City and Mint To Be. Unfortunate when I made this order New Yolk City was already sold out again :( but i noticed the next day they had restocked it (after I had already placed my order) So guess who made two orders within 2 days ahha, cant wait for my 2nd package to arrive early next week!

Waiting

I wrote this 2-3 years ago, and found it sitting on my old blog. I cant believe how creative I was while I was so emotionally unstable/depressed. (sorry about the real bad grammar and spelling mistakes >.<)

I waited for you, like I do every day, I knew you’d show.

I waited for you today, like I do every day. You are always there, such a person to make my heart beat. I waited and I could see you walking down the street towards me. The sky above was clear and blue, rays of light where shinnying off your hair. When you saw id spotted you, you would smile a wicked grin I loved so much and so I would run to you. I would always run to you. Catching me in your arms we would twirl around and our lips would meet when we were done spinning. It was such a good day. Sitting down on the grass, id curl up against you, and shut my eyes wishing this would last forever.

Nothing last forever...

I waited for you today, like I do every day. I don’t know why I wait and I know I should leave this place already. But on the good days, when the sun shines through the grey clouds and there silver lining is shinnying strong I can imagine the warm of the rays on my face, rosying my cheeks, like it was before. Some days I think I can really feel it, and it bring a smile to my lips and I don’t have to think about anything else except that feeling. But as I waited for you today, it wasn’t good day to be had. The clouds were nasty and dark with the wind whipping around, truth be told I think it scared me some. But still I stood there, looking into the sky, willing it to be different, imagining it was a good day. 

But you didn’t show...

I waited for you today, like I do every day, but today it was different. The sky cracked thunder and lightning struck the ground. I was sick of trying to feel, sick of this emptiness I felt. I was enraged. I stood there with my arms crossed, for hours on end still waiting. I screamed with the thunder, shouting your name, trying to get you to hear me. My hands were balled into fists, I could feel my nails pierce the skin on the palm of my hand and start to bleed. But it did not hurt. What hurt was the pain in my chest, my heart beating with so much rage. I wanted to smash things, to scream things, to claw at my own self for being so stupid

But still you didn’t show...

I waited for you today, like I have done every day, because it’s how pathetic I am. It never stopped raining the whole time I was there, I was soaked through to the skin. You took my heart because I let you, and you tore it to shreds. Leaving each bit in a shadow of your own footprint. A trail I sadly followed, to try put myself back together. But I couldn’t find it all. Will you ever give the missing pieces back?

I stood in my spot as the sky fell down and tears were all I had left to feel.

I didn’t want to feel anymore.

 I knew you would never show...

Hair Care

Iv never really had a problem with my hair, even with dying and bleaching it all the time. My hair tends to extracts ALOT of oil so it seems to stay protected quite a bit better than other peoples hair. But unfortunately recently my hair has begun to feel the damage and it was getting really bad so i decided id try out some haircare products. I already use moroccanoil but it wasn't cutting it. I didnt want to spend heaps on salon style products so i did some research into some that i could afford from woolworth or priceline. I ended up purchasing the L'Oreal Paris, Elvive total repair range and a pantene night miracle cream.

 I have to say, im in love with their Conditioning restoring spray, i use it through the day when my hair starts feeling dry and frizzy due to split ends and it gives my hair back its life. The spray is weightless and smells epic.

Press & Go

A while ago priceline was having a gift bag sale where you spend $60 you get $240 worth of free gifts, so my friend and I got in on the deal.

 The gift bag came with many many goodies to try, most of the stuff id never used before and was presently surprised when I enjoyed most of the gifts. Within this bag came a nail kit by Press and Go, I have used fake nails once and found them horribly uncomfortable so i wasn't that interested in trying them again. But since i am unable to keep my nails nice for even a day (due to work and netball) i decided to give these ago.

You get 24 nail covers in the kit, they are really easy to apply and the box says they last up to a week. They were quite odd when i first applied them but once trimmed down to a nice size (and so i could still wear them while playing netball) they became unnoticeable. They also lasted me 2 weeks (even in the harsh environment my hands take) so that was a big surprise. They come in a number of different colours as well.
All in all i am really pleased with this product and will defiantly keep buying them (y)

Beer is Addicted to me

This little comic by explosm makes me laugh every time I see it. I bought the Cyanide and Happiness books a while back and haven't touched then for quite some time till I went digging for a different book and came across them again. I was flipping though the comics and came across one of my favourites, mostly because it totally reminds me of my dad and im thinking about blowing it up and framing it for him to put in the new games room. 

The Secret Circle

So iv recently come across a new TV series thats got me hooked, sadly im almost up to date with the USA airing meaning im going to have to wait each week for it to be released so i can download it *le sigh* life is hard... :P

The tv series is call The Secret Circle and its about a group of teen witches (very my kind of thing ^.^) having to face a number of different attacks, trying to work out what happened in the past (most the teens parents [who were also witches with there own circle] died in a fire) ect. its quite a hooking series. Its also quite jumpy (when your watching it at 2am and you have fears of the dark and don't do well with scary things ahha >.>) 

Anyways i couldn't work out why the story line sounded so familiar till one episode i noticed it was basted off a book series by L.J. Smith, one of my favourite authors!! who also writes the books for The Vampire Diaries (also turned tv series in which im totally addicted to) and a number of other great series iv read, The Secret Circle being on my list to get my hands on. Unfortunately, I kind of wish id read the books before id found the tv series but oh wells, to late now.
